At the heart of our practice is a belief in the importance of relationships and connection. We believe that understanding ourselves within the context of our relationships can help us make sense of difficulties, recognise patterns that may have developed over time and discover different ways of relating to ourselves and to the people who matter to us.Our approach is compassionate and curious.

We are interested not only in the difficulty that brings someone to therapy, but also in the person or family as a whole, their relationships, experiences, strengths and hopes for the future.

About Lisa

I am a Social Worker, Systemic Psychotherapist, Couples and Family Therapist and Attachment Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adults, couples and families.

I have always had a passion for working with people from all walks of life and at different stages of the lifespan. Over the years, I have come to appreciate that while every person and family has their own unique story, relationships are often at the heart of both the difficulties we experience and the possibilities for change.

My aim is to offer a warm, respectful and non-judgemental space where people can feel heard and understood, and where we can be curious together about what is happening in their lives and relationships.

About Denys

I am a Pre-Accredited Psychotherapist with a BA in Psychotherapy, working with adults who may be experiencing difficulties in their relationships, family life or emotional wellbeing, or who simply feel that something in their life needs to change.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent more than 20 years working closely with people from many different backgrounds, often during particularly difficult periods in their lives. This experience has stayed with me and has shaped how I work as a therapist. It has taught me the importance of listening without judgement and of taking the time to understand the person behind the difficulty.

My particular areas of interest include relationships, separation and co-parenting, trauma, addiction, anger and conflict, as well as supporting people who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that may have developed within their lives and relationships.
